Hiroshi Kumatani is a New York based multiple award-winning filmmaker, editor, and motion graphic artist. He joined in the film and video production industry in New York, right after he received B.A. from the City College of New York, Film and Video Production major. While producing his own films, Hiroshi also has established his professional position in editing and motion graphic design field. His unique ability to achieve polished motion graphics on top of the highly skilled editing has been recognized by fashion retailers (Bloomingdale's, Tommy Hilfiger, Tiffany), top technology companies (Canon, Samsung, Panasonic), renowned cultural organizations (MoMA, Lincoln Center) among others. He also worked on numerous film trailers, special visual effects, and opening title sequence for feature films. He was named Grand Prize winner of the Trailer Competition at New York Film Festival. His short animation film won the editor's choice award from the Studio Voice Magazine in Japan. He is a current member of Telly Award Silver Council.
